KT Able School is a digital talent development program operated by KT and sponsored by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to enhance young people's employment competitiveness and create jobs in new business fields. The training is conducted in two courses: the ‘AI Developer Track’ to train AI service developers and the ‘DX Consultant Track’ leading the digital industry.
KT is selecting 1,200 trainees annually through regional headquarters nationwide to improve the digital capabilities and employment competitiveness of students outside the metropolitan area who lack opportunities for digital technology education such as AI, aiming to nurture a total of 3,600 digital talents by 2024. KT also plans to hire 10% of graduates from each cohort and is making efforts to cooperate with other companies to expand employment opportunities for trainees.
