[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Shin Myung-jin, the 20th president of the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), received the Industrial and Trade Medal from the Vietnamese government on the 20th at the Embassy of Vietnam in Korea in recognition of his contributions to the development of industry and trade between the two countries.
During his tenure from March 2016 to February 2019, former President Shin dispatched import delegations to Vietnam and held Korea-Vietnam Business Forums and trade consultations between companies of both countries.
