Hanil Cement Achieves Ultra-High-Rise Pumping of High-Density Floor Remital to Reduce Interfloor Noise
Construction officials are taking a commemorative photo after successfully pumping "high-density floor Remital" to the ultra-high-rise section at 150m above ground at the construction site of the mixed-use building "ePyeonhansesang Ilsan Urban Sky" in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Hanil Cement, in collaboration with DL E&C, has successfully pumped 'high-density floor Remital'?jointly developed to reduce inter-floor noise?to a height of 150 meters (approximately 50 floors) in a domestic first for ultra-high-rise construction. On the 18th, the pumping was successfully completed at the construction site of the mixed-use building 'e-Pyeonhansesang Ilsan Urban Sky' in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, demonstrating the product's commercial viability and construction stability.
High-density floor Remital has a higher density and weight compared to conventional Remital, requiring differentiated pumping technology for high-rise building construction. For this placement, a mobile silo developed directly by Hanil Cement, equipped with an automatic weighing sensor to maintain uniform physical performance during placement, was used. Additionally, assistance was received from Professor Choi Myung-sung of Dankook University's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, a leading domestic expert in concrete pumping, who was commissioned to analyze product properties and predict construction performance.
The quality of the high-density floor Remital has already been verified by the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS). In February, a floor structure using this product as a finishing material successfully passed the 'Grade 1 Heavy Impact Sound Reduction' performance test. The results are highly reliable as the measurements were taken not in a laboratory but at the construction site of the e-Pyeonhansesang apartment in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
Recently, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport revised the performance inspection method for apartment floors to reduce inter-floor noise. According to the amended Housing Act effective from February this year, performance inspections will be conducted under strengthened standards starting August 4. Tests will be carried out on randomly selected sample units, which must pass the stricter noise standard of 49dB.
In preparation, Hanil Cement has developed high-density floor Remital applying selected heavy aggregates in collaboration with DL E&C over the past two years. Its density is improved by 120% compared to conventional floor Remital, effectively reducing heavy impact noise commonly referred to as 'foot hammering' sounds. The newly developed high-density floor Remital is attracting attention from construction companies preparing for the enhanced floor performance inspections. It is known that about ten construction companies are currently reviewing the use of high-density floor Remital.

A Hanil Cement official stated, "We are preparing the first commercial production base for high-density floor Remital in the domestic dry mortar industry and have appropriate construction solutions ready," adding, "We will respond swiftly to the demands of the construction industry."
