Former Student Council Presidents of Chodang University Support Candidate Choi Oksu

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The former student council presidents' association of Chodang University in Muan, Jeollanam-do, declared their support for Choi Ok-soo, the Democratic Party candidate for county governor, yesterday (16th).

Before the support declaration, the former student council presidents of Chodang University held a meeting with candidate Choi Ok-soo.

The former presidents stated, "Among Choi Ok-soo's main pledges, prioritizing attracting large corporations and creating jobs resonated most deeply with young people suffering from employment difficulties."

They added, "From the perspective of local university students who, even after graduation, face a severe employment barrier and must move to other regions like Seoul, Choi Ok-soo's pledges will provide courage, hope, and reassurance about the future to local youth."

During the earlier meeting, the former student council presidents said, "Through our experience running student councils, we know that leaders who only maintain the status quo ultimately hinder the future of their members," and "We hope that Choi Ok-soo, with his strong leadership and conviction, will become a nationally recognized and popular star county governor who will lead Muan's development well."

Candidate Choi Ok-soo emphasized, "Our local university students are the future of Muan County, and I deeply understand the difficulties faced by youth," adding, "Attracting large corporations and creating jobs will definitely be implemented for the development of youth and Muan."
