This event was organized to participate annually in the Dream Day activities of the DGB Social Contribution Foundation held every May. The donation ceremony was attended by Hong Won-sik, CEO of Hi Investment & Securities, Jeon Myung-soo, Secretary General of the Seoul Social Welfare Council, and Yoon Eun-mi, Secretary General of the Seoul Branch of the National Association of Regional Children's Centers.
The donated children's educational books are a gender equality book set for elementary school students (worth approximately 5 million KRW) and will be distributed to 100 regional children's centers within Seoul to convey the importance and value of gender equality education.
Regional children's centers are facilities that provide comprehensive child welfare services for the healthy development of children in the community, including education and care for socially vulnerable children, as well as connecting guardians and the local community.

CEO Hong Won-sik stated, “As part of our social contribution activities to fulfill the social responsibility of finance, we have donated children's books to support the education of children from vulnerable groups. We hope that after reading the selected gender equality books through consultations with practitioners, children will grow up in a world where they live 'being themselves' without discrimination, rather than living 'like a girl' or 'like a boy.'”
