Genewon Science Appoints Research Director Jun-Kyo Oh... "Expanding Research and Development"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Synthetic pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) company Genewon Science announced on the 17th that it has recruited Research Director Oh Jun-gyo to strengthen its research and development (R&D) capabilities.
Dr. Oh, who holds a doctorate in pharmaceutics, recently served as the head of the central research institute at Huons. At Huons, he was responsible for planning and managing national projects on improved new drugs, synthetic new drugs, and generics, registering generic injectables with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and quality improvement activities. He also worked on product development, ingredient and formulation research, and overseas GMP at SK Chemicals and Dong-A Pharmaceutical.
Genewon plans to actively expand its R&D through the recruitment of Director Oh and operate its research institute as an 'Open Innovation Hub' by strengthening partnerships with research ventures and pharmaceutical companies.
