Sejong City Selects 25 Young Administrative Interns... "One Month of Administrative Experience in July"
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City will select 25 participants for the ‘2022 Summer Youth Administrative Intern’ program and assign them to administrative sites.
The city announced on the 17th that it will select 25 youths aged 19 to 34 who have their address in Sejong and actually reside there, or university students enrolled in local institutions, providing them with an opportunity to gain experience in administrative work on-site.
Administrative interns will be selected through priority selection and general selection. Priority selection targets include vulnerable groups such as recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security and those who have actively participated in city administration activities. General selection is open to all applicants except those eligible for priority selection.
The internship period is from July 4 to 29, and wages will be paid at Sejong City’s living wage of 10,328 KRW per hour.
The selected youth administrative interns will be assigned to the city hall, eup/myeon/dong offices, and libraries to assist with administrative tasks.
Youths wishing to participate in the administrative internship can apply through the city’s website from the 23rd to the 27th of this month.
The city will select the final participants through a computerized lottery. The results will be announced on the city’s website on the 2nd of next month.
