Gwangju City Election Commission Provides 'Early Voting Location Finder' Service
Available from the 16th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Metropolitan City Election Commission announced on the 15th that it will provide a 'Find Early Voting Station' service to facilitate voters' voting convenience during the early voting held on the 27th and 28th.
From the 16th, voters can find the nearest early voting station to their location by searching on the Central Election Commission website or portal sites.
When searching for early voting stations on the Central Election Commission website, voters can view the early voting status by time slot at the corresponding early voting stations from the 20th presidential election to help select their voting time.
If the early voting station is not on the first floor or lacks facilities for the disabled such as elevators, and it is unavoidable to install a temporary voting booth for mobility-impaired voters such as the elderly, disabled, and pregnant women on the first floor, this fact will be indicated to assist mobility-impaired voters in choosing an early voting station.
The Gwangju Election Commission will install 96 out of 97 early voting stations on the first floor or in locations equipped with elevators to improve voters' accessibility to voting stations.
Most early voting stations remain the same as those used in the 20th presidential election to ensure voters have no difficulty finding them.
However, four stations have been inevitably changed due to reasons such as voting facility issues and accessibility inconveniences.
