Hanwha Motive plans to begin its electric vehicle charging business this month at parking lots of Hanwha affiliate buildings and commercial building parking lots.
As a charging service provider, Hanwha Motive offers comprehensive services to customers wishing to install charging stations, including electric vehicle charging infrastructure construction, initial consulting, investment, business operation, and maintenance. This year, it aims to install 2,000 to 3,000 chargers, including fast chargers.
Customers who wish to install charging stations can receive professional consulting services regarding electric vehicle charging stations through Hanwha Motive. After confirming the optimal number of chargers suitable for the location and the estimated cost, customers who sign a contract with Hanwha Motive can receive some slow and fast chargers installed free of charge. During the contract period, they can also receive free quarterly regular inspections, which are twice the level required by the Ministry of Environment.

Additionally, Hanwha Motive plans to provide an industry-leading mileage service that allows users to accumulate up to 3% of the charging amount, operate a 24-hour call center, and implement the industry's only real-time response service that dispatches on-site support within 2 hours in all cases requiring field intervention.
A Hanwha Motive official stated, "It is a time when a reliable charging infrastructure provider is needed for both location providers and electric vehicle charging station users," adding, "We will provide high-quality solutions in the electric vehicle charging market, which can be considered the intersection of future mobility and eco-friendly energy businesses, to achieve high customer satisfaction and create synergy with Hanwha Q CELLS' existing business."
