At around 2:20 a.m. on the 12th, two men in their 20s riding electric kickboards together collided with an SUV passenger car heading toward Seolleung Station at the POSCO intersection in Samseong-dong, Seoul. The two were taken to the hospital but ultimately passed away. It was confirmed that they were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul booked the driver in his 40s on charges of violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling. The driver was found not to be under the influence of alcohol.
