KMI Korea Medical Institute Supports Health Checkups for Vulnerable Groups with Seongsan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] KMI Korea Medical Institute announced on the 11th that it will carry out a social contribution project in cooperation with Seongsan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center to provide free health checkups to vulnerable groups in the local community.
The support targets 25 vulnerable individuals who have not been able to receive health checkups due to economic difficulties. Since 2007, KMI has been supporting health checkups for vulnerable groups in the local community together with Seongsan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
In addition to the national health checkup items, KMI will provide free tests for additional examination items that incur extra costs (500,000 KRW per person, totaling approximately 12.5 million KRW) to help vulnerable groups maintain their health and prevent diseases.
