Shinsegae Property Opens Starlit Seongsu... "Targeting the MZ Generation"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Shinsegae Property announced on the 11th that it will entrust the development and operation of Starlit Seongsu based on the know-how and capabilities accumulated through years of promoting complex development projects.
Starlit Seongsu is an urban complex commercial facility that Shinsegae Property is launching for the first time targeting the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), located in Seongsu-dong, an area with a high concentration of young people. It spans from basement level 2 to the 9th floor above ground, with a total floor area of approximately 7,150㎡, combining office, commercial, and cultural facilities to provide entertainment content encompassing fashion, culture, and food & beverage (F&B).
In particular, from the early stages of development, Professor Yoo Hyun-joon of the Department of Architecture at Hongik University participated in the design, proposing various guidelines such as spatial consideration, building utility, and harmony with the surrounding environment, enhancing the building’s public value, aesthetics, and functionality.
On the rooftop, a rooftop garden has been created with birch trees and hydrangeas, offering a panoramic view of the Seongsu-dong area. The art platform, including the ceiling media of the Seongsu Station connecting bridge and a large media wall on the 3rd floor, will host cultural and artistic exhibitions and collaborations with artists.
