Hotel Shilla is showcasing newly developed menus to support small restaurants in the Jeju area through a tasting corner, which has been attracting continuous customer visits.
Shilla Stay stated, "The Family Month Buffet Promotion offers an opportunity to enjoy the signature dishes of the 'Delicious Jeju Making' restaurants, a win-win project supporting small business owners in Jeju, at Shilla Stay Jeju. This promotion was planned to express gratitude to families and provide a unique gourmet experience, and it has been popular since its opening."
During weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) throughout May, the 'Delicious Jeju Making Tasting Corner' can be found at the Shilla Stay Jeju breakfast buffet, where visitors can sample signature dishes from 'Delicious Jeju Making' restaurants across Jeju. On the first day, May 7th, Jeju’s representative dishes such as Dombe-gogi (boiled pork slices), stir-fried aged kimchi, and meat noodles were featured. On May 14th, black pork tonkatsu will be offered, and on the 28th, bomaljuk (whelk porridge) and bomalguksu (whelk noodles) are planned. The hotel explained, "We have prepared a variety of Korean, Chinese, and snack menus every week, including Jeju-style yukjeon (pan-fried beef), yangji haejangguk (beef brisket hangover soup), menbosha (fried shrimp toast), and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). The diverse menus, combining the experience of Jeju Shilla Hotel chefs and the authentic flavors of 'Delicious Jeju Making' restaurant owners, are providing culinary delight to travelers and guests visiting Jeju."
