Namwon City Holds 'Catch the Luck Event' During the 92nd Chunhyang Festival

Namwon City announced on the 4th that it will hold an event called 'Catch the Luck of Namwon Tourism' for tourists visiting Gwanghallu Garden during the Chunhyang Festival period.

The city will pilot the event during the Chunhyang Festival, which is scheduled to run for seven months from this month until November.

The 'Catch the Luck of Namwon Tourism' event offers tourists visiting Gwanghallu Garden during the Chunhyang Festival the chance to write postcards provided on site and enter a drawing to win prizes such as accommodation vouchers at Namwon Yechon (400,000 KRW), Namwon Love Gift Certificates (100,000 KRW), and Hanbok exchange vouchers (50,000 KRW).

Theme travel packages linking major tourist attractions during the Chunhyang Festival period will also be introduced.

For tourists from the metropolitan area, various travel packages such as the 'Gugak & Wine Special Train Overnight Trip,' 'Eco Rail Bicycle Special Train Overnight Trip,' and 'Come Here~ Namwon! Special Bus Overnight Trip' will be developed to create synergy in connection with the Chunhyang Festival.

The 2022 Namwon City Chunhyang Character Illustration Contest, using the Chunhyang character representing the festival, will also be held.

The 2022 Namwon City Chunhyang Character Illustration Contest is an event designed to select character illustrations freely reinterpreting Chunhyang and use them as promotional characters.

The city plans to select 10 candidate works from pre-submitted entries, then choose the final 6 through on-site voting at Gwanghallu Garden during the Chunhyang Festival, awarding prizes. The winning works will be used for one year in local promotional content and souvenirs.
