Previously, minors who wanted to subscribe to Meritz Asset Management's funds faced difficulties as they could not verify their real names remotely and had to visit Meritz Asset Management branches located far away in person.
With the launch of this service, minor customers wishing to subscribe to Meritz Asset Management's funds can open a comprehensive account at Shinhan Bank branches, and parents can subscribe to junior-exclusive funds through the Meritz Asset Management app, enhancing the convenience of financial transactions for minors.
Additionally, by integrating Shinhan Bank's social contribution program with Meritz Asset Management's junior financial education online content, a financial education campaign for minors will be conducted to provide financial consulting that helps minor customers effectively prepare for the future.
To commemorate the launch of this service, Shinhan Bank is holding an event until the 31st, offering the first 3,000 customers who open a comprehensive account a GS convenience store coupon worth 10,000 KRW, and through a draw, providing 2 tickets to Legoland (20 people) and 1:1 investment consulting invitation tickets with Meritz Asset Management CEO John Lee (20 people).
