Hwasun-gun to Open Goindol Auto Camping Site on the 6th
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun announced on the 3rd that the Goindol Auto Camping Site will open on the 6th.
The county has prepared 41 camping sites on a 12,407㎡ camping ground, ready to welcome family visitors.
Convenience facilities such as cooking areas, showers, and dishwashing stations are also equipped to provide a pleasant environment for campers.
The usage fee is 20,000 KRW on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) and public holidays during the off-season, and 25,000 KRW on weekends (Friday to Saturday, the day before public holidays) and peak season (July to August).
Reservations can be made from the 4th on the Hwasun Goindol Auto Camping Site website.
A county official said, "We expect it to become a mecca of megalithic culture by linking with nearby tourist experience resources such as the World Megalith Theme Park, Goindol Prehistoric Experience Center, and Goindol Historic Site," adding, "We will do our best to operate various convenience facilities well and make it a healing tourist destination."
