[Photo] Korea Forest Service Hosts High-Level Roundtable Meeting on 'Peace Forest Initiative'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 3rd that it held a high-level roundtable meeting for the Peace Forest Initiative (PFI). The meeting took place at COEX in Seoul as a special event of the 15th World Forestry Congress (from the 2nd to the 6th). During the meeting, the Korea Forest Service shared the vision of the Peace Forest Initiative among the participating countries of the Forestry Congress and encouraged their participation. Attendees included the heads of forest services from Peru and Ethiopia, the Secretary-General of the Asia Forest Cooperation Organization, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia, and high-ranking forestry officials from Laos, El Salvador, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
