The government-hosted "2022 Museum and Art Gallery Week," with the theme "The Power of Museums," will take place nationwide from May 13 to 22 (10 days), with participation from related institutions across the country.
Ulsan Petroglyph Museum will conduct various programs in line with the week’s events.
Main events include ▲ May 10 and 14: Museum School in the Forest (making tiger masks) ▲ May 15 and 22: Ulju Cultural Foundation performances (fusion gugak, once daily) ▲ May 18 and 19: Hojak Hojak Petroglyphs (making incense holders shaped from clay) ▲ May 20: Daegokcheon exploration and prehistoric culture film screening.
Additionally, ongoing experiential events include augmented reality (VR) petroglyph experiences, petroglyph puzzle assembly, Bangudae paper folding, Bangudae rubbing experiences, and a World Heritage stamp tour with stamp collecting.
In particular, the Ulsan Petroglyph Museum’s special exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of Children's Day proclamation, "Bangudae Playground," will be held from May 3 until the end of this year.
