GH to Take Charge of Reviewing Energy Saving Plans for Private Housing Projects
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) will take charge of reviewing energy-saving plans for private housing projects.
GH announced on the 2nd that it was recently designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as a specialized institution for reviewing energy-saving plans for eco-friendly housing.
The review of energy-saving plans for eco-friendly housing is a system that examines the appropriateness of design conditions and mandatory requirements for constructing energy-saving eco-friendly houses, and it is part of the housing project approval process.
GH will review energy-saving plans such as the insulation performance of walls in apartment complexes subject to housing construction project approval, airtightness performance of windows, and new and renewable energy facilities, in accordance with the Housing Act and construction standards for energy-saving eco-friendly housing.
Through this task, GH plans to enhance its expertise in eco-friendly and energy fields of buildings and support the smooth approval of housing construction project plans for private housing projects in Gyeonggi Province.
