Until the 31st of next month, Proposals for City Development and Population Vitality Enhancement to be Discovered
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Seunghyun] Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 29th that it is holding a contest for vivid ideas to enhance citizen happiness and beautify the romantic harbor.
The city prepared this contest to discover innovative ideas and practical policies through citizen participation and to implement an administration of communication and empathy by reflecting them in city governance.
The contest categories include ▲life-related ideas to improve residents' quality of life ▲measures to improve living conditions (jobs, transportation, culture, environment, etc.) ▲countermeasures for low birth rates and ways to revitalize the youth population (marriage, childbirth, childcare, etc.) ▲and ways to improve the ‘working methods’ for efficient organizational culture innovation.
Anyone interested in the development of Mokpo city administration can participate, and submissions can be made through the National Petition System, the city website, or by mail from the 2nd to the 31st of next month.
Proposal grades will be finally selected after preliminary review by the relevant departments and evaluation by the proposal review committee, and prize money will be awarded according to the grade.
The final evaluation results are scheduled to be announced on the city website in July.
