[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] DGB Daegu Bank will sell the ‘DGB Election Winning Account’ to manage election funds ahead of the ‘8th Nationwide Local Elections’ on June 1.
The DGB Election Winning Account is an account that allows candidates to manage and operate election expenses through a deposit account opened at a financial institution in accordance with the Political Funds Act and related laws during the election campaign period.
It can be opened under the name of the accounting officer designated by the candidate, and various fees such as interbank transfer fees related to banking services (including branch counters, internet, and smart banking), cash withdrawal and transfer fees at DGB Daegu Bank CD/ATM machines, and certificate issuance fees are waived until July 1.

A DGB Daegu Bank official said, “We are selling dedicated accounts during the election period and receiving positive responses from political parties and candidates for transparent and convenient election expense management,” adding, “Various fee waiver benefits are also available.”
