Muju-gun Completes Cadastral Resurvey Survey in Goemok and Hayu Districts
Hayu District Completed... Gwaemok District to be Completed Within This Month
[Muju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Muju County announced on the 22nd that it will complete the current status surveying of the cadastral re-survey project for the Goemok and Hayu districts, a long-standing cadastral project, within this month.
The cadastral re-survey project is a national project to correct the registration details of cadastral records and convert paper-based cadastral maps into digital cadastral maps, as the boundaries on cadastral maps manually created over 110 years ago during the Japanese colonial period do not match the actual usage status, causing various issues such as boundary disputes.
This year's project sites, Goemok-ri Goemok district and Samyu-ri Hayu district, are managed by the Muju branch of the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX) as the responsible executing agency, with the private surveying company Low Korea Co., Ltd. cooperating as the performing partner to carry out the current status surveying work.
The surveying in the Hayu district has been completed, and the plan is to finish the current status surveying of the Goemok district by the end of this month.
The 2022 cadastral re-survey project covers a total of 1,210 parcels, and through procedures such as land status investigation, cadastral re-survey measurement, boundary confirmation, and adjustment amount calculation, the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of next year.
Previously, the county collected residents' opinions through public inspection, announcement, and guidance procedures for establishing the implementation plan for the cadastral re-survey, and obtained consent forms from landowners within the project districts on site.
Once the cadastral re-survey project is completed, it is expected to eliminate boundary disputes among residents and increase land value.
