[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Hyun-ji] On the 11th, Song Eon-seok, a member of the People Power Party, was appointed as the floor leader, working closely with the new floor leader Kwon Seong-dong. Yang Geum-hee and Park Hyung-soo were nominated as floor spokespersons, and 12 members, including Han Mu-gyeong, are expected to serve as deputy floor leaders.
The People Power Party held a party meeting on the same day and approved the appointment of 15 deputy floor leaders. With this decision, Song was reappointed as the senior deputy floor leader. He has been serving in this position since the 18th of last month, succeeding former senior floor leader Chu Kyung-ho, who joined the Presidential Transition Committee's Planning and Coordination Subcommittee as a secretary. Song is a two-term lawmaker representing Gimcheon City, Gyeongbuk, and a former vice minister of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.
Yang and Park were nominated as floor spokespersons. Yang is a first-term lawmaker representing Daegu Buk-gu Gap and serves as the chairwoman of the People Power Party's Central Women's Committee. Park represents Yeongju, Yeongyang, Bonghwa, and Uljin in Gyeongbuk.

The deputy floor leaders are composed of first-term lawmakers. They include Han Mu-gyeong, Park Dae-su, Kim Seon-kyo, Yoon Doo-hyun, Jo Eun-hee, Ahn Byung-gil, Kim Hee-gon, Seo Il-jun, Hong Seok-jun, Lee Jong-seong, Jeon Bong-min, and Kim Byung-wook, totaling 12 members. Han and Park, who entered the National Assembly through proportional representation, serve as the chairpersons of the Small and Medium Business Committee and the Labor Committee of the People Power Party, respectively. Jo, a former Seocho District mayor who was elected in the Seocho Gap by-election held alongside the March 9 presidential election, and Seo, currently serving as the administrative director of the transition committee, are also included among the deputy floor leaders.
