Belarus Announces List of 39 Unfriendly Countries... South Korea Excluded
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Belarus, an ally of Russia, has announced a list of unfriendly countries towards itself, similar to Russia.
According to Interfax news agency, the Belarusian government on the 8th (local time) published a government decree on the legal announcement site revealing a list of 39 unfriendly countries, including the 27 European Union (EU) member states and 12 other countries.
The list includes countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Norway, and Switzerland, in addition to the EU member states. South Korea was not included.
Belarus, a former Soviet state, is Russia's closest ally, with President Alexander Lukashenko maintaining a close relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Earlier, on the 7th of last month, the Russian government designated 48 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and the 27 EU member states, as unfriendly countries through a government decree, citing unfriendly actions against Russia, Russian companies, and Russian citizens. South Korea was included in Russia's list of unfriendly countries.
