[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] The Democratic Party of Korea has formed a special committee from its side to conduct the confirmation hearing for Prime Minister nominee Han Deok-su and announced the members of the committee.
On the 8th, Democratic Party lawmaker Ko Min-jung held a press conference at the National Assembly and stated, "The Democratic Party has composed the confirmation hearing committee by prioritizing public office ethics verification capabilities, expertise in policy fields, and cooperative play."
The confirmation hearing special committee includes lawmakers Nam In-soon, Shin Dong-geun, Kang Byung-won, Kim Eui-gyeom, Kim Hoe-jae, Lee Hae-sik, and Choi Kang-wook as members.

Lawmaker Ko said, "The confirmation hearing for Prime Minister nominee Han Deok-su is the first confirmation hearing of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, and we will fulfill the opposition party's role by conducting thorough verification," adding, "Based on three major principles and three major standards, we will create a hearing that involves the people through meticulous verification."
