Yanolja Cloud Makes Conditional Investment to Acquire Ticketing IT Solution Company 'Smatics'
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Yanolja Cloud, a subsidiary of Yanolja, announced on the 8th that it has made a conditional investment in Smatics, a domestic IT solution company specializing in ticketing.
Smatics provides integrated online and offline ticket solutions and on-site operation agency services for over 300 private and public facilities nationwide, ranging from cultural facilities to leisure facilities. In particular, it has distinguished itself in the leisure IT sector with its cloud-based specialized ticket asset and channel management system. Yanolja Cloud decided to invest, judging that Smatics' solutions and technological capabilities will contribute to the digitalization and business expansion of its leisure inventory.
Yanolja Cloud will strengthen its Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for efficient integrated management of leisure and cultural spaces together with Smatics. To this end, it plans to introduce a 'cloud-based modular solution' that digitally transforms the entire operation process, from issuing tickets, securing sales channels, managing reservations and remaining tickets, to CRM. Customized development and selection according to business scale and type will also be possible, which is expected to help maximize operational efficiency for small and medium-sized businesses.
Kim In-seok, CEO of Smatics, said, "Smatics has focused on the ticketing system field for the past 13 years," adding, "We hope to grow into a global leading company that provides more innovative services and differentiated customer experiences based on Yanolja Cloud's investment."
