This conference is jointly hosted by Kumoh National Institute of Technology's Smart Green Manufacturing Innovation Project Group and Smart Manufacturing AI Convergence ICC, and is held for representatives of companies in the Gumi area, economic council and organizations, and smart manufacturing consultants.
On the day, former Korea Productivity Center Chairman Noh Gyu-sung will give a presentation titled "Manufacturing Innovation Achieved through Metaverse in the Era of Digital Transformation," followed by a panel discussion with three panelists: Song Jeong-hoon, Director of Gyeongbuk TP Gyeongbuk Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center; Kim Tae-won, Senior Researcher at Korea Intelligent Information Society Agency; and Jo Gyu-min, Executive Director at Ian.
This event was prepared to strengthen the linkage between the regional manufacturing industry and the metaverse, based on the "Metaverse Industry Promotion Act" proposed by National Assembly member Kim Young-sik in January this year.
