Jangheung-gun Selected 3 Companies for Ministry of the Interior and Safety Village Enterprise Advancement Project
Jayeonsok Agricultural Cooperative, Jangheung Cheongtaejeon Agricultural Cooperative, Jeongnamjin Woori Gim Bugak Agricultural Cooperative
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Seunghyun] Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that three local companies were selected in the 2022 Ministry of the Interior and Safety-type Village Enterprise Advancement category.
The selected companies are Sajeonsoge Yeongnong Cooperative Corporation, Jangheung Cheongtaejeon Yeongnong Cooperative Corporation, and Jeongnamjin Uri Gimbugak Yeongnong Cooperative Corporation, each receiving 20 million won in support.
All these companies were finally selected by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety after going through the Jeollanam-do practical committee and on-site inspections.
Going forward, local residents will be able to effectively realize the benefits of the local community by solving common regional problems through profit-making projects utilizing local resources and creating jobs.
Sajeonsoge Yeongnong Cooperative Corporation is engaged in distribution business using figs, Jangheung Cheongtaejeon Yeongnong Cooperative Corporation operates a processed food business using white lotus (Baekryeon), and Jeongnamjin Uri Gimbugak Yeongnong Cooperative Corporation produces and sells gimbugak processed foods.
The county expects that the three companies will greatly contribute to job creation and income increase within the region.
