Gwangju Veterans Office-Donggu 'Job Creation Activation' Business Agreement
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Im Jong-bae) Veterans Support Center and Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City signed a business agreement on the 6th to support the activation of job creation.
The agreement was promoted to provide high-quality employment support services such as smooth social reintegration and stable job creation for medium- and long-term veterans who have faithfully carried out the mission of national defense and have been discharged, through the establishment of a mutual cooperation system.
Im Jong-bae, Director of the Gwangju Veterans Affairs Office, said, "Warm interest in veterans who have served and dedicated themselves to the country is the responsibility of the nation," and added, "Starting with establishing a close cooperation system with Dong-gu, we will actively strive for the successful social reintegration of veterans through continuous agreements with the remaining four district offices and job-related organizations."
Meanwhile, the Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office Veterans Support Center conducts employment support services for medium- and long-term veterans who have faithfully performed the national defense mission for more than five years and have been discharged to ensure their smooth social reintegration.
