Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Conducts 'Special Alert Duty' for Rapid Initial Fire Response
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Song Seonghun) announced that it conducted special alert duty during the recent Cheongmyeong (5th) and Hansik (6th) periods for rapid initial response in case of fire outbreaks.
During this special alert duty, the Honam University Student Volunteer Fire Brigade conducted a wildfire prevention campaign on the Eodeungsan hiking trails within the jurisdiction. Additionally, firefighters and volunteer fire brigade members were deployed at various stations to patrol fire-prone areas adjacent to forests for wildfire prevention.
