Hwasun-gun Accepting Applications for 'Jeonnam Talent Development Scholarship' Until the 29th
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun announced on the 6th that it is accepting applications for the selection of Jeonnam Talent Development Scholarship students for the first half of 2022 until the 29th.
The Jeonnam Talent Development Scholarship, operated by the Jeonnam Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Inpyeongwon), consists of 14 types in three categories: Areumdri, Hope Narae, and Special Designation.
The scholarships for which the county selects and recommends students are two types: Hanultari in the Hope Narae category and Marine Energy in the Special Designation category.
Eligible applicants are elementary, middle, high school, or university students who, as of the announcement date (March 31, 2022), have had a residence in Jeonnam Province for more than one year, either the student themselves or their guardian (father or mother).
The county plans to select and recommend 10 Hanultari scholarship students (3 middle school, 4 high school, 3 university) and 2 Marine Energy scholarship students (university and junior college students), while the remaining scholarships are selected directly by Inpyeongwon through applications.
The scholarship amounts range from 300,000 KRW to 1,500,000 KRW.
Separately, applications for the ‘Emergency Support Scholarship,’ which is directly selected by Inpyeongwon, are accepted at any time at the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers.
