On that day, a seed sharing event was held for all visitors to the Safety Experience Center, distributing flower and vegetable seeds such as sunflower seeds.
Additionally, for visitors wishing to plant trees, safety tree planting activities were conducted on the premises of the Safety Experience Center together with firefighters, providing a unique experience and meaningful memories in celebration of Arbor Day.
A representative of the Jeju Safety Experience Center said, “In celebration of Arbor Day, we organized this event to share seeds and plant trees to reflect on the importance of mountains, forests, and trees. Given the continued dry weather in spring, this event also aims to protect Jeju’s nature through wildfire and grass fire prevention.”
Meanwhile, the Jeju Safety Experience Center is strengthening the discovery and promotion of various events where seasonal and themed visitors become the main characters throughout the year to increase interest in safety experiences and attract many visitors.
They are also promoting multifaceted projects to improve visitor satisfaction, such as expanding cooperative projects with related organizations and operating capacity-building programs for instructors.
