'Up to 7 Million Won Support'.. Mirae Asset Recruiting Overseas Exchange Scholarship Students
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] The Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation announced on the 6th that it is recruiting 200 students for the 27th Mirae Asset Overseas Exchange Scholarship Program, scheduled for dispatch in the upcoming fall semester.
This program is a scholarship initiative supporting university students who are scheduled to be dispatched as exchange students, in accordance with Mirae Asset's management philosophy of "Looking to the future with an open mind and valuing talent." Since selecting the first batch of scholars in 2007, it has supported a total of 6,017 students to date.
Applications for the 27th batch of scholars will be accepted through the Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation website from the 25th of this month until the 2nd of next month. Candidates who pass the first document screening will undergo an online AI interview, where artificial intelligence (AI) asks questions and applicants respond while looking at the camera via video. Final acceptance notifications will be sent by the end of June.
Applicants must have obtained overseas exchange student status through their affiliated university and meet economic and academic requirements. Notably, this selection will increase the proportion of students from science and engineering fields and give preferential selection to majors related to innovation to foster future talent in these areas. Selected scholars will receive scholarships of 7 million KRW for the Americas and Europe, and 5 million KRW for Asia, depending on the dispatch country. Detailed information about the overseas exchange scholarship selection can be found on the Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation website.
