HiteJinro Signs Eco-Friendly Business Agreement with Upcycling Brand 'Nukkak'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] HiteJinro announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with the global upcycling brand 'Nukak' for eco-friendly activities. The plan is to contribute to fulfilling social responsibility through marketing activities focused on Terra's 'clean' concept.
HiteJinro, together with Nukak, plans to create upcycled goods from promotional materials such as banners and air signs discarded in major entertainment districts and university areas, and utilize them for consumers. Until now, banners used in university areas and commercial districts contained specific information such as store names, menus, and periods, limiting recycling and leading to incineration.
HiteJinro's sales branches nationwide will collect banners within their respective commercial districts, and Nukak will produce goods from the collected banners to be released next month. The environmental club 'Jigugin' at Chung-Ang University, which sympathizes with the purpose, has agreed to participate in collecting university banners.
