Jeil Steel Establishes 'Global Advisory Group' for Acquiring Virtual Asset and Game NFT Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Jeil Steel, which recently decided to change its company name to ‘JSCO Holdings’ through an amendment to its articles of incorporation, announced on the 6th that it plans to establish an advisory group for virtual assets and game NFT businesses and pursue acquisitions (M&A) of related companies.
The newly established advisory group is expected to include ▲a Director from a globally renowned crypto-specialized investment firm ▲a blockchain-specialized lawyer and compliance officer active in Crypto Valley, Switzerland ▲a partner from an international blockchain-specialized accounting advisory firm.
Based on the consulting of the advisory group, Jeil Steel plans to invest in acquiring and securing management rights of a game NFT-related platform company as early as this month.
In addition, Jeil Steel plans to sign partnerships with global blockchain crypto companies and international blockchain associations in June to host an international blockchain conference organized by Jeil Steel. Through this, Jeil Steel aims to discover outstanding virtual asset and blockchain companies and build a close collaboration system.
A Jeil Steel official stated, “To swiftly and systematically acquire virtual asset and game NFT companies, we plan to form an advisory group with excellent personnel targeting Switzerland, the global hub of virtual assets, as well as domestic and worldwide locations,” adding, “We will lead the game NFT market by carrying out various activities such as acquisitions and investments in related companies and hosting global conferences.”
Meanwhile, Jeil Steel added virtual asset and blockchain game-related NFT businesses as new business areas at the 58th regular shareholders’ meeting. Initially, Jeil Steel planned to recruit ‘Ivo Sauter,’ CEO of BitMex Link (BMX Link ag), as an outside director candidate, but the candidate voluntarily withdrew due to personal reasons.
