60s Man Arrested and Sentenced for Stabbing While Drunk: "It Was an Accidental Incident... I'm Sorry"

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man in his 60s who was arrested on suspicion of killing an acquaintance while intoxicated in a residential area of Geoyeo-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 6th, the Seoul Songpa Police Station sent Mr. A, who is suspected of murder, to the prosecution in custody.
At 7:37 a.m., Mr. A came out of the police station and responded to reporters' questions asking, "Do you admit the charges?" by saying, "I'm sorry," and "It was an accidental incident." He also expressed to the bereaved family, "I feel sorry." However, he did not answer when asked, "Did you commit the crime with a weapon prepared in the kitchen?" and got into the escort vehicle, leaving the police station.
Mr. A is suspected of stabbing and killing Mr. B, a man in his 50s, with a weapon while drinking together at his home in Geoyeo-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 29th of last month.
Mr. A and Mr. B were acquaintances in the neighborhood, and it is understood that a quarrel broke out while they were drinking. Afterwards, Mr. A directly reported to the police and was arrested on the spot as a suspect.
