Hanwha Aero announced on the 6th that it recorded Level 8 in the PMS audit, a corporate management system capability diagnosis program hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Productivity Center. The PMS certification is a system introduced under Article 30 of the Industrial Development Act to support productivity improvement through systematic innovation activities by companies. According to Hanwha Aero, 'Level 8' is a grade given to companies with a management system capable of responding quickly and flexibly to environmental changes.
Hanwha Aero reported that during the four-day audit held from the 21st to the 24th of last month, it received 'Level 8+' in five of the seven categories: leadership, productivity innovation deployment, customer and market management, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, and human resources. This not only broke Hanwha Aero's own record but also achieved the highest score among domestic defense companies.
Hanwha Aero emphasized that operating an optimal vision system that realizes innovative growth in the leadership category was significant. It was highly evaluated for enhancing sustainability for the future by systematically implementing ESG management through the establishment of an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) committee and the publication of a sustainability management report last year. Shin Hyun-woo, President of Hanwha Aero, said, "We will strengthen the optimal management system that continuously secures the best performance, taking this PMS Level 8 certification as an opportunity."
