Dongwon F&B Launches Two Types of Premium Korean HMR 'Yangban Sura' Container Porridge
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Dongwon F&B announced on the 6th that it has launched two types of premium Korean-style ready-to-eat meals (HMR) under the ‘Yangban Sura’ container porridge line.
The two types of Yangban Sura container porridge include ‘Abalone Guts Porridge,’ which is richly filled with abalone guts from Wando for a deep flavor, and ‘Korean Beef Porridge,’ made with juicy and tender Korean beef shank combined with fragrant shiitake mushrooms to add a luxurious taste.
The new products enhance the taste and aroma of Korean cuisine by using carefully selected high-quality domestic specialty ingredients in line with the ‘Yangban’ brand philosophy that ‘ingredients must be alive for the taste to come alive.’ Rice and various raw ingredients are mixed and boiled together, reducing the heat treatment time by more than 20% compared to before, which preserves the texture of the rice grains and ingredients.
