On the 6th, Hotel Shilla announced that it signed a business agreement with Jeju Tourism Organization for the project "Making Jeju Safer and More Delicious." Attending the agreement ceremony were Go Eun-sook, President of Jeju Tourism Organization, Ha Ju-ho, Head of Communications Team (Vice President) at Hotel Shilla, and Park Jeong-mi, CEO of 'Shinseong Halmae Restaurant,' the first branch of "Making Jeju More Delicious."
Through this business agreement, the two companies' representative social contribution activities, Jeju Tourism Organization's "Safe Filling" and Hotel Shilla's "Making Jeju More Delicious," will jointly develop projects. The agreement includes ▲joint cooperative projects through linking social contribution activities of both companies ▲strengthening local commercial competitiveness through Jeju Tourism Organization's regional revitalization projects and Hotel Shilla's talent donation ▲promotion of Jeju food and culture to overseas tourists ▲joint volunteer activities conducted by both companies' volunteer groups.
Hotel Shilla expects this agreement to create greater synergy in the shared goal of both companies' social contribution activities, which is "supporting the enhancement of Jeju's local food culture competitiveness." By combining Jeju Tourism Organization's "Safe Filling" campaign, which creates clean services, with Hotel Shilla's "Making Jeju More Delicious," which helps small restaurants become self-reliant, they aim to increase satisfaction with Jeju tourism and strive to attract foreign tourists in the post-COVID-19 era.
Ha Ju-ho, Head of Communications Team at Hotel Shilla, said, "This business agreement with Jeju Tourism Organization was driven by our shared desire to contribute to the development of the Jeju local community. We will actively support this cooperative project to provide practical assistance to the local community."
