Starfield Hosts Spring 'Pet Festival'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Starfield is hosting the "Starfield Pet Festival," where pet dogs and their owners can enjoy the spring sunshine and create happy memories, at Starfield (Hanam, Goyang) and Starfield City (Wirye, Bucheon, Myeongji).
According to Starfield on the 1st, the "Starfield Pet Festival," now in its second year, was planned to allow customers to spend healthy and happy time with their pet dogs while enjoying the spring breeze at Starfield.
From exhibition, walking, and photo zones focused on photography, the festival has enhanced activity with experiential content such as sports events and obstacle practice, allowing pet dog families to enjoy themselves joyfully.
As outdoor activities like walks or visits to dog cafes have been restricted due to COVID-19, making socialization training difficult for pet dogs, the "Pet Festival" is expected to be a great opportunity to meet various dog friends and socialize together. Additionally, owners will have a communication space to empathize with other pet owners and share useful information.
Events prepared include sports events with pet dogs, educational classes, and a pet fair. The "Dangdang Sports Event," where dogs can run freely, will be held until the 14th of this month at the plaza in front of Shinsegae Department Store in Starfield Hanam and the east plaza in Goyang. Three events are prepared: "Dalligae," completing a running track within 30 seconds; "Neomeobogae," passing five obstacles within one minute; and "Gidarigae," testing patience by not eating treats. Those who succeed in all events will receive F&B vouchers. After the sports event, owners can capture their dogs’ adorable moments at a photo zone decorated with dog illustrations called "Mankukgyeon(犬)gi," designed like a podium for awards.
If you want to experience various activities that maximize bonding with your pet dog, Starfield City Wirye, Bucheon, and Myeongji are suitable. In Wirye and Bucheon, dog behavior expert Kwon Hyukpil will conduct theoretical education and practical training on obstacles at Star Garden, providing unique fun for pet dogs. In Myeongji, a "Family Photo Shooting Event" with pet dogs will be held to create special memories. All events at Starfield City Wirye, Bucheon, and Myeongji require prior registration through the KakaoTalk channel.
