[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gumi City, Gyeongbuk Province, will operate a science experience program that fosters scientific thinking and creativity at the Gumi Science Museum throughout April.
This program, under the theme "Gumi (龜尾) Pulling Science Festival," will be held over two days from April 23 to 24, featuring a science magic show, science theater, and science experience booths available by advance reservation.
For citizens visiting without a reservation, a "Exhibition Mission Tour" will also be conducted throughout April.
The Science Package Golden Bell targets elementary school students visiting the science museum, where they solve science quizzes using QR codes and 80 students will be selected by lottery to receive science packages.
Each science package allows individuals to access the Gumi Science Museum YouTube channel to watch videos and participate in experiences, and by leaving reviews of their experience on social media, they can receive additional gifts.
The "Science Month Special Jam Lab," conducted by same-day reservation, offers two programs for family visitors: making your own windmill and expressing yourself with neon signs! Up to 80 family teams can participate.
Additionally, on the second floor of the Basic Science Museum, a "Mini Science Museum" will be operated where visitors can experience various fun small exhibits.
