Hwasun-gun to Recruit Students for 'Youth Culture Salon' Until the 13th of Next Month
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun announced on the 31st that it will operate the ‘2022 Hwasun-gun Youth Culture Salon’ program to improve the quality of life for youth, support creative activities, and expand youth community culture and exchanges.
The first session of this year’s Youth Culture Salon will recruit students until the 13th of next month.
This year’s programs include ▲Emoticon creation for beginners (7 sessions) ▲One-day classes (lunchbox cake, rattan bag, bubble bar, macaron, cocktail, perfume making, etc.) ▲Webtoon and illustration drawing for beginners (8 sessions).
The program will run from the 19th of next month to June 16, with a total of 23 lectures held every Tuesday to Friday.
The Youth Culture Salon was selected as a youth policy idea contest project by Hwasun-gun in 2019 and has been continuously operated since it was first launched as a pilot project in 2020.
Also, composed of various programs such as lectures and experiences, it has received enthusiastic responses from local youth every year.
An official from the county said, “We hope that young people will take on new challenges through the program and find their own hobbies to nurture their body and mind,” and added, “We hope many will continue to show interest in ‘Cheongchundeullak’ after this program.”
