(Suncheon Cultural Foundation) '2022 Agora Suncheon Enjoyed by Hangkkun' Selects a Total of 105 Teams
High-Quality Cultural and Artistic Performances Across Suncheon City from Next Month 1st to November
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] A total of 105 performance teams with 453 members have been selected for the regional representative arts festival "2022 Hanggun-e Jeulgineun Agora Suncheon," hosted by Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do, and organized by the Suncheon Cultural Foundation, and will begin activities starting next month.
On the 29th, the Suncheon Cultural Foundation announced that during the four-day live performance evaluation, a total of 170 teams with 681 participants competed, and 105 teams with 453 members were selected, including 50 professional art teams and 55 community art teams.
The selected teams will perform high-quality shows by Suncheon cultural artists for Suncheon citizens and tourists visiting Suncheon at various cultural and artistic events throughout the city from the 1st of next month until November.
A representative of the Suncheon Cultural Foundation said, "This year marks the 10th anniversary of Hanggun-e Jeulgineun Agora Suncheon, and we are preparing various events by expanding into the exhibition field to develop it not only as an arts festival unique to the Suncheon region but also as a regional representative arts festival representing the Republic of Korea." He added, "In particular, we are preparing to take a step forward through the 10th anniversary commemorative events and the 2023 Suncheonman National Garden Expo to be held next year."
