Gwangyang Economic Authority Holds First Half Year Public Relations Policy Advisory Committee Meeting
Sharing Progress on Promotion Policy, Opportunity to Discuss Promotion Strategies
[Gwangyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seonsik] The Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Song Sangrak, hereinafter GFEZ Authority) announced on the 29th that it held the '2022 First Half Public Relations Policy Advisory Committee' to enhance awareness of GFEZ and discover promotional measures.
The meeting was organized to review the GFEZ Authority's 2021 public relations progress and 2022 plans, and to explore promotional strategies for revitalizing investment attraction in GFEZ.
The advisory committee members evaluated that despite difficulties caused by COVID-19, the GFEZ Authority achieved some success in promotion through various media such as online and SNS publicity, webzines, webtoons, domestic media outlets, and publicity in multi-use facilities, raising interest and improving the image of the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone.
They also gave positive evaluations for efforts to revitalize investment attraction, including promoting GFEZ using promotional electronic billboards within the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone.
A GFEZ Authority official stated, "It is very important to continuously discover and timely implement various promotional measures to attract investment, and to create an atmosphere of win-win cooperation through empathy and communication with local residents." He added, "We will actively reflect the diverse opinions of the committee in our public relations policies."
