Jungjingong Supports SMEs' Entry into International Organization Procurement Markets
Recruitment of 40 Companies for Global Procurement Marketer Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 28th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the Global Procurement Marketer project, which provides integrated support for the entire process of small and medium-sized enterprises entering the international organization procurement market. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups and SBC newly introduced the Global Procurement Marketer project last year to help domestic SMEs enter the international procurement markets operated by international organizations such as the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
The support target is small and medium-sized enterprises wishing to enter the international organization procurement market. A total of 40 companies will be selected this year. Selected SMEs can receive education, consulting, and bid preparation support for entering the international organization procurement market. Education and consulting include ▲basic education on international organization procurement markets and bidding processes ▲building a foundation for sustainable management through sustainability consulting. Bid preparation and support include ▲close support for preparing common documents for international organization bids, vendor registration, bid proposals, reverse auctions, etc. ▲support for various matters needed during the negotiation stage upon winning the bid.
Chairman Kim Hak-do said, "In the first year of introducing the Global Procurement Marketer project, we supported 181 bids for 40 companies and achieved results such as winning procurement from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees." He added, "We will support domestic companies to be more active in the international organization procurement market, which amounts to 26 trillion won."
