Incheon Airport Corporation Builds Virtual Work Environment 'iCloud'... "Accessible Anywhere"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 25th that it has completed the establishment of the virtualized work environment iCloud, which allows employees to access the administrative work system and perform tasks from anywhere.
iCloud is the first system among public institutions to simultaneously implement desktop virtualization and document centralization. It enables access to the work system through a virtualized work portal from any location with internet access. It is a virtualized work environment that transfers existing work PC data to a document centralization server for utilization.
Through this, employees can experience a smart work environment that guarantees work continuity and accumulation of work know-how via the document centralization server, while performing tasks in the same environment as the office from various locations such as home, meeting rooms, and business trips.
The corporation aims to improve work efficiency and productivity by focusing on overcoming spatial constraints and systematic accumulation of knowledge through stabilizing iCloud. Additionally, as Incheon Airport is a major national security facility, the virtualized work environment strictly complies with national security requirements, effectively preventing data leakage and blocking malicious code infiltration, ensuring information security.
