Namwon-si to Recruit 'Ottchil and Gali Education Students' Until the 15th of Next Month
[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk, announced on the 25th that it is recruiting students for the '2022 Namwon City Lacquerware and Gali Education' until the 15th of next month.
This education program features top experts in the field as instructors, including Intangible Cultural Property Lacquerware Master Park Kang-yong (advanced lacquerware class) and Korea Arts Master Lee Geon-mu (beginner and intermediate Gali classes), providing specialized lessons.
This year's education consists of 5 courses in 2 fields (lacquerware and Gali): lacquerware beginner, intermediate, advanced, and Gali beginner and intermediate. Starting with the first lecture on May 9, classes will be held 1 to 2 times a week until November at locations such as the Gabangtteul Lacquerware Craft Education Center.
The recruitment quota is 5 to 12 people per course. Anyone interested can apply for the beginner classes, while intermediate and above classes are intended for those who have completed the previous level or possess equivalent qualifications.
All courses are free of charge. Those wishing to apply can download the application form from the announcement section on the Namwon City website and submit it to the City Hall Corporate Support Division.
