[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] EN Corporation is expanding its business into the advanced environmental technology sector this year as well.
EN Corporation announced on the 24th that following last year's record-high sales since its founding, it has set a sales target of 300 billion KRW for this year.
Last year, it acquired Hanseong Cleantech, an EPC company specializing in ultrapure water and water treatment. It also successively acquired Inbiotech, a liquid designated waste treatment company, and EN Chemical's Dangjin plant. By acquiring Daeyang Enbio, a water treatment O&M specialist company, it succeeded in establishing an industrial water treatment platform.
EN Corporation expanded its scale by acquiring environmentally specialized companies with technological competitiveness. Sales increased by 1142% compared to the previous year, reaching 168.3 billion KRW. Operating profit also rose by 1259% during the same period.
An EN Corporation official said, "Along with environmental regulations, the importance of environmental business will grow further," adding, "We will strengthen the value chain of the industrial water treatment platform and consider M&A of advanced environmental technology companies that can create synergy among environmental subsidiaries."
