[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] To commemorate the 7th ‘West Sea Defense Day,’ Seoul City posted a Seoul Dream Signboard on the 24th featuring the faces and memorial sentiments of the ‘55 West Sea Defense Warriors.’
Seoul City filled the entire Dream Signboard with photos of the faces of the ‘55 West Sea Defense Warriors’ who sacrificed their lives in the Second Battle of Yeonpyeong, the Cheonan ship sinking incident, and the Yeonpyeong Island shelling, along with the phrase, “These are faces someone wants to see even in their dreams.”
Seoul City explained that this planned posting was promoted to widely publicize the 7th ‘West Sea Defense Day’ this year and to encourage more people to remember and honor the ‘55 West Sea Defense Warriors.’
