[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] KB Securities analyzed on the 21st that Truewin will benefit from the growth of the eco-friendly vehicle sensor market.
Researcher Sang-guk Lim of KB Securities explained, "The automotive sensor market will grow due to the expansion of object detection and convenience functions in vehicles, as well as the expansion of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies."
He added, "Truewin possesses various technologies related to automotive sensors, such as infrared thermal imaging sensors and camera modules," and "we expect benefits from the growth of the future automotive sensor market."
He stated, "Synergy effects are expected through the joint venture with Hanwha Intelligence," and analyzed, "They plan to supply autonomous driving and electric vehicles by developing long-range IR sensors, which are key components of autonomous vehicle night vision, EPS (short-range detection sensors) for electric vehicles, and IPS (pressure sensors)."
Researcher Lim emphasized, "The development of a sensor portfolio optimized for the future automotive industry is attractive," and "Truewin can achieve sensor lightweighting, miniaturization, high performance, and cost reduction through semiconductor sensor self-design and production technologies such as CMOS manufacturing processes."
